Disable Regedit Policy

I manage several computers running WinXP-Pro that the public have access to.
As you can image, everyone seems to want to experiment with someone elses
computer.
It is my understanding that there is a way to lock or disable the Regedit
functionality (prevents Regedit from being run).
Can some one walk me through this? Is this an edit of the Registry itself
or a Policy setting?
Thanks

You can set very fine-grained permissions for users/user groups by using
the Group Policy Editor. Start>Run gpedit.msc [enter]

Be careful with the Group Policy Editor - it is possible to lock
yourself out. For more specific questions regarding Group Policy usage,
here's a newsgroup where you can post:

microsoft.public.windows.group_policy
