disable memory area at boot time

Hi

I know I shouldn't be asking, but anyway, just want to know if it’s possible
;)
I ran memtest-86, and found some failing addresses around 17, 9 MB on my
laptop's 512 mb blog.
So my question is (obvious) is there any more advanced switches or other
ways to make windows xp "disable" memory addresses?
( /burnmemory and /maxmem isn't what I’m looking for

I believe you would have to look in the bios and not win.

I have been there, with no luck. It's a Thinkpad T42 (or Acer TravelMate
800). But theres no obvios features to do that in ither bios.

Maybe this is a "RAM hole", not a bad memory.

Exactly. Mike I know... off cause you shouldn't use bad ram. I know exactly
how bad a concept this is. But I’m still curios if there’s a way to do it?
