Is there a way to disable the junk e-mail option in Outlook 2003 using a registry setting or group policy? I have found the control id to disable the Actions | Junk E-mail menu option, but also need to disable the Junk e-mail option under Tools | Options | Preferences tab

Thank you.

You can use Group Policy indeed to force the setting

For the registry key;
[HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Options\Mail]
Keyname; JunkMailProtection
Value; 4294967295

Thank you. Can you tell me where this setting is specifically in the Group Policy Editor; I can't seem to find it :-)

It follows the same structure as the menu's
Tools | Options-> Preferences-> Junk E-mail

That is correct behaviour. The registry edit just sets the Junk E-mail level
to "No Protection"
