disable internet in LAN

Hi,

This is vamshi krishna here worried of misuse of
internet in my office with win2k systems i want to disable
internet without stopping the services required for LAN as
our entire work will run on networks only.


please help me some body.

Hi Vamshi,

How is your network currently connected to the Internet? Do you need any
access to the Internet at all or do you want to just prevent certain clients
from getting to the Internet?

You may want to consider a proxy server like ISA Server

Block all IP addresses at the firewall except those you
explicitly permit.

You can also create a GPO controlling IE settings for
a bit less heavy-handed control.
