disable http referer in browser

Hi -

I'm trying to find out if there is a setting in IE to allow user to
block sending the http referer to a web server. I have an app that
references the referer and this user is not sending it to our app.

Hello,

Is the user running any proxy, Outpost Firewall, Adsubtract, Norton Firewall
products or any other privacy/firewall products? You may need to check their
settings to allow referrers to pass through.

IE has no such setting (other that proxy settings) that blocks the referrer
(to the best of my knowledge).
