Disable F8 at Boot

I know there have been many posts on this topic in the past. However,
I could not find anything in the last year or so, presumably before
Feature Pack 2007 came out.

So I am hoping that someone has found a way to prevent the user from
pressing F8 to access the Windows boot menus. It would be supremely
helpful to prevent any key presses from affecting the boot process. I
know some of this depends on BIOS settings, but once XPe starts
loading I would like to keep the user from accessing any boot options.

For the record, disabling the contacts on the keyboard is not an
option in my situation. Nor can I use any methods that involve hacking
or illegally altering XPe. Otherwise, any feedback on this issue would
be helpful.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I my case, which is a
very simple Minlogon image, if the user selects anything except normal
boot the machine will crash with a BSOD.

Kyle,

We had once such a request for a high security application.
I am not sure if that was even NT-Embedded or XP-Embedded.
Microsoft recoded ntldr for this customer.
I have to investigat on this if I can give this version to a 3rd party.

Contact me on my e-mail for further communication:

(of course without the nospam.)

There are many people that would like that. When you are talking to MS,
can you please ask if it would be possible to make it generally
available, perhaps on the ECE site?
