I have a school assignment where I need to add different action buttons to my
slides (not every slide will have the same button). This I can do - but I
also need to "disable PowerPoint's default navigation". I have no idea how
to do this part - please help!

Tina,
Go to Slide Show - Set up show - select Browsed at a kiosk. Be aware that
all navigation must be provided by action buttons, preferably in the master
of your presentation.

Be aware, if you run in kiosk mode the presentaiton can not be allowed to
sit more than five minutes as it will restart itself.

I don't think the reset works in PowerPoint XP/2002 and the later versions?
Mine doesn't seem to reset, except for 2000 and below.

I think we had a thread about this a few months back and everyone who
resonded reported different results on resetting to the first slide. Most
of them reset but at vastly different time intervals.
