In C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32, find the calc.exe program file. either delete it,
or give it a different, nonobvious name

I need to disable the calculator in windows for a testing center, how?

I did that and within minutes it reappeared. I also tried renaming it, but
that didn't solve the problem either. Its like the system will recreate the
calc if I use those two options.

It should be possible to delete from all start menus, then disable start
/ run to stop people getting access to the command line box.

Should be able to do this from the boxes you get if right clicking on
start menu

Hope this helps.

Also to delete calc, try doing it through add / remove system
components, I think this is right click on my computer / properties,
not sure.
