Hi there
I'm having trouble with green chunks/distorted playback of some
videofiles on my desktop computer. I've checked that I got the proper
codecs, and I have no trouble playing the videofiles on my laptop,
which has exactly the same codecs as my desktop. The only differens
between the two of them is that my desktop has a asus A9600 videocard
and that there is a short screensplash with something called asus
splendid when I start playback of a video (those that work). This
screensplash isn't shown when a video isn't played back correctly, that
is having distorted picture or green blocks in the picture.
Could the Asus Splendid be a part of the problem? And is there a way of
disable it? I don't like software being installed on my computer
without notifing my and when I cant uninstall it....
The asus support-site is down at the moment :-(
