Hi,

We have a w2k server with a hundred or so users using w2k clients. Many of
the users have enabled 'make files available offline' and when logging on
and off to certain computers users have to wait for the computer to finish
syncronizing all the files to a pile of users.

This takes a lot of time and now I simply want to log into each of these
computers as admin and shut off all syncronization for all users.

How do I effectively shut of ALL registered syncronizing jobs? (Some
computers syncronize files for up to 30 users when logging on/off!)

Can we also prohibit the future use of this 'make available offline'
feature...?

Thanks a LOT for info on how to do this

regards

Rod

Disable offline file caching on all shares (share properties of the
folders).
Use group policy to disable offline file caching on clients.
