I just purchased a new Dell Desktop.
As usual, there is lots of "free" software pre-installed. Some of which I
don't want to uninstall, yet I don't really want the associated tasks or
services to auto startup at boot either.
I've rooted around in each of the program's options and preferences and shut
down all that I can get my arm around. As well as checked the "startup"
folders within docs and settings.
Question: Is there a way to disable some of the entries in the "HKLM...RUN"
key without deleting the entry?
After the dust settles, I may want to turn some of them back on.
