I love racing games.
But I've come to the conclusion that without a decent steeing wheel on a PC they is hard work.
On my Xbox360, however, a gamepad is quite acceptable, it works well for racing games.
Which is why I've given up racing games on PC (I am not paying 300 quid + for a frickin' steering wheel
)
And now I only play racing games on Xbox, actually quite enjoyable.
Maybe when Dirt 3 costs only £12.00 (which it will) I'll buy it.
Why pay 30-40 for now, the game will be just as enjoyable in 9 months time as it is now, unless, of course, you suffer from true nerd status where you just gotta have it NOW.
I don't, fortunately, which means I spend less on games but truly have just as much fun.
Those publishers absolutely love those who want it NOW, that first flourish is their greatest profit.
Their game will be just the same in everything but price in nine to twelve months time
