I use Win2000 and have downloaded and installed DirectX.
How can I cross-install it on another [video-dedicated]
partition which also has Win2000 but not configured for
internet and has no 'Internet Explorer'.

Donwload full DirectX (dx90_redist.exe, 32Mb) and install
without internet.
