Hi... When checking directx diagnostic tool it says for my
sound card that cmuda.sys is not whql logo'd. where do I
get that file, from microsoft or from my sound cards
manufacturer??

You'd get an updated driver which may have been WHQLed from the sound card
manufacturer, in this case I think it's an AC97 card so you can get the
drivers from VIA http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=69
