Hello, I get a message that the file mfs40.dll is
incorectly installed in windows and it should be
deleted.I have found the file but does not allow me to
delete it.

Thank you for your response Rich.
You were right I did make a typo the file is mfc40.dll.
I have tried to delete or overwrite the exsisting file and
it doesn't work. I have no idea what could be the problem.
The file seems to reappear after I delete it. If you have
anymore you can add to help resolve this problem it would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks Robert

Try Start>Run type: msconfig Select Startup Tab and see if
there's anything that looks like it's refering to mfc40. Uncheck if there
is. Also, Start>Run type sysedit Take a look thru the Win.ini and
Sys.ini files and Autoexec.
