Trying to install DirectX and get the following message: "A cabinet file
necessary for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify Crytographic
Service are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid." Any comments?

Also I am trying to install a program that requires DirectX and get the
Severe error message "DirectX 5 requires Windows 95." Please help!!! Thanks.

WinXP comes with DirectX 9 already built-in. You cannot install an
older version of DirectX, nor should there ever be any need, as DirectX
is backwards-compatible.
