What video card are you using?
Have you downloaded the latest drivers for it?
Have you attempted to reinstall it?

Paul,
The graphics card is nVidia Gforce4 mx 440.
Today I uninstalled and removed the card, then reinstalled
both the card and driver (from the CD that came with the
card).
A couple of days ago i downloaded the latest drivers from
nvidia, but the problem continued.

so, the answer to your questions is, Yes...but I still get
the same errors in dxdiag.

A friend of mine suggested last night to download the
latest drivers not from nvidia.com but from the card
manufacturer's site. I am unable to identify the actual
card manufacturer (believe it or not) IF it is a company
other than nvidia. My understanding is that nvidia
provides the chip to the manufacturers that build the
cards...i even looked on the card itself and there's no
label other than "korea" (big suprise there!)

Any other ideas?? Help!!?

Rob

I was finally able to resolve this by downloading and installing updated
drivers for my AGP from the mainboard manufacturer's website. Saw this
recommendation on another message board, so hopefully this bit-o-
knowledge will help others as well.

Glad it's resolved.
