directx 9.0b

i just upgraded to directx 9.0b, and i cant play stafleet
command 3 anymore. it says i need to install directx 8.1.
is there any way to fix that problem? or if i can
uninstall 9.0b?
 
If you have XP and made a restore point. Also you can uninstall your
program and install it again. It accepted 9.0 so it probably should
except the 9.0b, hopefully.
