Just wondering, I even reformatted my last XP install just to be sure.

I have a 8500DV running on an Asus A7N8X Dx 2.0 board, everything was
working fine with DirectX 9.0a.

Motherboard died, corrupted files, anyways...

Reinstalled everything on another board (Same thing), the only difference is
DirectX is now 9.0b

My TV tuner & every other MMC apps are not working at all...

Reformated, reinstalled, same thing.

I've found 9.0a lying around somewhere...

Before reinstalling everything, I'd just like to know if anyone of you guys
have the same problem.

(My 8500 is NTSC btw...)

I knew that PAL cards had the problem. But I never saw anywhere someone
mentionning he had problems with the NTSC version of the card.

Anyways, I found a workaround.

I installed the latest drivers, but put in MMC8.1 instead. I lost Eazylook,
but I don't care... TV works now:)

On another note...

I'll be installing the trial version of Win2k3 Server tonight. I alreadyu
figured I might have to disable Terminal Server for the tuner to work (As I
had to do with 2k Advanced Server). Anyone tried 2k3 with MMC?

Hardware acceleration, Direct Draw, and Direct 3d acceleration are
disabled by default in DX. You'll need to enable them after installing
your ATI stuff.
