I have something you can try. This worked for another customer who saw the
same problem:
1. Download DirectX setup package from the following website:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=a6dee0db-dcce-43ea-
87bb-7c7
e1fd1eaa2&displaylang=en
2. Unzip the files into a temporary folder and then go to the Directx9
folder in
this temporary folder. Double-click the dxsetup.exe file to begin the
installation.
