Directx 9.0

When I do my windows updates it is always brings up the
directx 9.0 to download. I will click to add, install and
yes to except it, then it goes thru the normal process to
download it and it will give me confirmation that the
download was successfully installed. But it is not, so
what can I do to get the installation to be correctly
install on to my computer.

You could go to the MS catalogue page and download it and manually install
it

Maybe that would work for you

I take it that you have tried a search for it on your puter, It should be in
C:\win32 folder or C:\ program files depending on the flavour of windows
that you are running
