DirectX 10

Would it really fly? There is any one pervasive DX10 game around....

There are a lot of DX10 games out there right now, and yes it does make a
difference. A small difference right now, but it is still young.

A few games: Crysis, FSX, Hellgate: London, World in Conflict...

FSX is not fully DX10 . Its what they call "DX10 preview"

Yea, some of the features that are DirectX10 really aren't that great yet.
World in Conflict adds cloud shadows and that's about it...

If you want to see amazing Dx10, try Bioshock (though not awesome, but
pretty nice vs Dx9), or Lord of the Rings Online (REALLY amazing, the tree
shadows and water effects alone are really nice looking).
