I need to get into directoy service restore mode and I
don't have the administrators password!
Is there a way to recover/reset the password?

Thanks

If you can login normally as a Admin then you can run setpwd to set the
recover console password

Unable to login to the server. An error message, prior to
logon, points me to dsrm. That is the password I don't
have. ANy Ideas? I do have a second domain controller
so if I need to reinstall it won't be the end of the
world.

You can use setpwd from a remote machine - the syntax is setpwd
/s:ServerNameGoesHere.

If you has an access to hard drive of your server find
%systemroot%\system32\config folder. In this folder delete file SAM. Than
you can login as Administrator and empty password.
