Direct X download

To improve the operation of my DVD sotware I have been
advised to download the latest version of Direct X. At
home I only have 56k dial up internet, this will take
11hours!!!! & my provider disconnects every 2hours
At work I have highe speed internet, but it is not
possible to download updates to intall on another machine.
How the hell am I suposed to get the update?

I'd just pack up your home computer and take it to
work. Connect to the hi-speed connection and download
away.

The DirectX 9.0b Redist is recommended for those user

that do not have internet connection during installation.

You can download it here burn to disk take it home or
have a Bud with High speed to do it.
