Hi group,
A female friend of a friend has problems with a knitting
program. They asked me for help and after some searching I
sent her a bunch of links. Now she has come back with a mail
saying something about "direct communication between program
and com port not being possible in Windows 2000 and XP" and
that she has been advised to go back to Win 98 or such.
I have do not know from where she has this info, but
presumably from one of the links I gave.
Is that so?
Can anything be done to bypass or overcome?
