Dear All,

I have a laptop with windows 2000 with no drives.
i want to connect it directly to my pc with winXP Pro
and install drivers for the laptops network card.

I bought a file sharing cable which connects both
computers directly through the serial port.(LPT1)

I set the pc as host and the laptop as guest.
When i try connecting, i get Error 720: saying computers
cannot agree on PPP protocol. I dont have a clue what this
means.
Can anyone help?

Thanks.
