I recently purchased a new computer running XP (Home). I
am trying to facilitate a direct parallel connection from
my old computer (running Windows 98) utilizind the LPT1
ports so as to copy all of my data files. I have used the
Wizard and have been able to get a connection. However,
when I go to the Guest computer to view and copy the files
on the Host computer, I can't see the drive. I designated
the entire "C:" drive on the Host computer as shared. I
am a novice on XP so I most likely have something set up
in error, but I sure can't find it. I have stepped
through all of the associated Wizards and read all of the
FAQs. I can't find anything that directly applies to my
problem. Has anyone run into this same problem? Any
information will be greatly appreciated.
