Hi y'all.
My sister was trying to update her video drivers the other day and installed Nvidia drivers (somehow) instead of the proper Radeon drivers for her 9700 Pro (128 megs). I helped her uninstall all the offending Nvidia software and install the latest Catalyst drivers from ATI, but now Direct3D gives us errors in dxdiag and 3D games won't run. I should qualify that -- Counterstrike 1.6 works in "software acceleration" mode, but we can't get any OpenGL or DirectX applications to work properly.
Is there any way to reinstall DirectX or reconfigure something so that Direct3D works again? Thanks in advance.
