dinst.exe-need help removing

I am running the current Windows Beta Defender however every time I reboot my
computer the following message pops up:

"dinst.exe - Bad Image"

"The application or DLL C:\WINDOS\dsr.dll is not a valid Windows image.
Please check this against your installation diskette."


Can anyone help?

Symantec has an automated removal tool for this bug--that's what I'd try

http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/adware.ieplugin.html

Scroll down to removal instructions and get the executable tool and run it.

See if that takes care of this.
