When I use "DImage Scan Utility" and want to make a final scan the
compression-factor is always set to "Medium". But I want to scan all my
negatives as jpg-files - and with low compression! It seems to be impossible
to set the compression-factor to "low" as default.

I'm not familiar with the 5400, but it should have an ini file some
where with the default parameters. I'm sure some one on here will
know right where it is located.

Same frustration here ... however I usually save as TIF anyway
and output JPG's from photoshop. The few times I directly save
as JPG it is not that big a deal to be vigilant.

I can't find it in the manual/control panel.

Cheers,
Alan.
