Dilplay problem

hey all im having a display problem and i cant resolve it.
Ive created a website that uses symbols in the text. more specifically im
using CARÃœBBEAN. in my test site. http://www.transmyt.com/clients/junefest
username = admin
Password = admin

Everything displays fine, but when i published to the live site. It displays
as
CARЬBBEAN. im sure there must be a setting in FP 2003 to fix this? Please help

I Set my page charset to
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;charset=iso-8859-1"> and
it still didnt help. the live site is www.junefest.net. that is were the
problem is, not on the test site. the test site works fine. why would the
page display idfferently on two different website locatioins?????

Correct - it would, in my opinion, be better to remove the charset
header from the server than change it to another charset, which may
cause problems down the line (such as when you need UTF-8, for
example).

yeah thanks that did it . I dunno why its pre-set to cyrillic either, hmm
strange.
