Hubby is moving along in his career and has been offered a couple of dozen
fully built applications, source code and full IP rights, that range from
RFID to an Ebay like web engine (more robust) to a 3D Body Model Simulator
to a completely anonymous, encrypted Visa/Mc online payment system.
Industrial/military grade and quality. Some are very advanced as in "one of
a kind", some are bleeding edge, some are very competitive with todays'
offerings.

We were talking about what to do, who to ask, so I thought I would come
here for discussion and advice.

If we offer it as freeware, we may lose (or may gain a write-off) as a
gift. If we set them up for licensing then we have a potential profit
center. Opening a direct marketing operation is what we are avoiding since
that is what he is leaving. Shareware, I dunno, may fit, may not fit.

Any other forums suggested would be appreciated. Freeware is certainly not
out of the question even though Susan Bugghers hates me. LOL

What would you do, who would you ask, where would you go with these if they
were yours to do as you wish?

HUH? If you mean me please remind me *why* I hate you. . .

If you sell them....remember that you have to support them, i.e., bug fixes,
updates to new operating system compatabilities, etc. That can be big
headaches.

I recommend that you make them available to us all FOR FREE!! (But
remember....I am NOT an impartial party).

You can farm out the support possibly.

For a brief moment I thought you were referring to her breasts.

Make them open source with a GNU type license so others may improve upon
them while keeping everything free.

Pictures please, so we can be the mediators.

You feeling leery? For shame!

....How much of what we see is caused by what we expect?

No, no, you don't understand. I'm just trying to be helpful and stop
another argument from getting out of control.

This reminds me of a funny story.

We went to the mother-in-law's for Thanksgiving. My wife's well-endowed
21 year-old niece named Jill who won a local beauty contest last year
shows up with her boyfriend. As people are leaving, my 20-month old son
is trying to say "bye-bye" to them. When we tell him to say "bye-bye
Jill", he instead says "bye-bye Jiggles"!!! Everyone starts cracking up
and he just keeps on saying it over and over again. The poor girl was
so embarrassed she had to hide from my baby behind her boyfriend. That
didn't save her though, the rest of the family chimed in with "bye-bye
Jiggles."
