Digital TV card CPU utilizations

I got Compro DVB-T300 PCI digital TV card. She has problem with CPU
utilization but it be working.

The PC she has P4 1.8Ghz, 1Gb RAM, Audigy2, GeForce3, the HDD be RAID 0
configuration.

She has 60%-70% utilization when TV card is running. My wonderment
festoons about this being normal?

It's normal.
 
I record 2 shows at the same time with MCE 2005 and only use 30-40% cpu.
When using Power Cinema to record 1 show, It uses 50% cpu power. All setting
are at "best". MCE records at 8096 kbps. Power cinema at about 5000kbps.
