Digital signatrue not found error when installing IE6 SP1

On some machines with w2k sp4 i I receive "digital signature
not found" error followed by "Unable to install Java
Packages." when downloading from windowsupdate.microsoft.com

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;269651&Product=win2000

Suggests that I should get the latest SP but I do have the latest SP.


Any ideas

I am having this same problem. But I am getting that
error on EVERY piece of software that I install via
windowsupdate.microsoft.com. Usually I can say "OK" and
it will go ahead with the installation. But the MDAC v2.8
update refuses to install citing:

INF Install failed. Reason: Unknown trust provider

Any ideas Microsoft? Thanks.
