I had a digital self certificate on my old computer.
I want to use the same certificate on my new one.
How do I get the certificate from the old computer to the new one?
Is it just a file I can copy over?
If so, where is it on the old computer?

Thanks,

You normally do it through Internet Explorer. Check this link:

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa141471(office.10).aspx

See the "Backing Up or Transferring a Digital Certificate to Another Computer"

Make sure to choose to include the cert's personal key, otherwise you won't be able to use it.

However, if you just want to transfer the database to the new machine without the certificate, just remove the
certificate in the VBA editor (Tools - digital Certificate) and then create a new cert on the new machine.
