Hi, all. I just uploaded a picture from Memory Stick to my computer. The
thumbnail image looks fine but when I double-click on it, there is an
error message saying the image is not viewable. When I try to load it
into Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop says JPEG end of file marker not found and
it won't show the picture.

The thumbnail looks fine but I'd really like the big photo to show up. Is
there any freeware available to repair this pic? TIA.

You could try Zero Assumption Digital Recovery from

http://www.z-a-recovery.com/digital_image_recovery.htm

It's designed to "undelete" images from memory cards rather than repair
damaged images but it might do the trick.
