I am having trouble using my digital certificate on
reload Internet Explorer.
I have contacted the Technical Helpdesk at the affected
website but they have been unable to find a solution.
Also, the company that issued me with the digital
certificate haven't been able to figure out why I'm not
allowed to access certain areas of the websites.
Both Helpdesks thought that it might be something to do
with the settings of my browser. They ran quite a few
tests but still no joy so they think that the problem
certain secure areas of some websites.
I click on the link of a particular page that I want to
view. I'm asked to select the digital certificate that I
want use and then click 'OK' and then 'OK' on the next
confirmation window. After clicking 'OK', the page I am
trying to view goes completely blank and then, after a
few seconds, Internet Explorer closes itself down.
Internet Explorer hasn't just minimized but closed right
down, meaning to get back to where I want to be I need to
might be something hidden deep down in the settings.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit is with these
