I captured some video with my digital camera. The camera handbook calls it
a motion JPEG 640 x 480 pixels at 30 frames per second. My computer
captured it OK and stored it as an .AVI file. I can import into MM2 as a
video "collection". Up to this point, it looks fine and runs very smoothly.
But once I add the "collection" to my project it becomes noticeably jerky
compared to the rest of the project which is normal camcorder footage, which
remains smooth when it is added into a project.
The digital camera movie is 128 kbps, whereas my camcorder movies seem to be
2060 kbps. I wonder if this is the reason for the loss of quality and if
so, is there a work around?
thanks
