When digital movie clips are pulled into moviemaker, the audio has a fluid
sound. Almost like talking under water.
End product sounds horrible. Anyone know how to get rid of this or what
software i need to do so? I am capturing in WMV format...

I assume when played back in windows media player the audio sounds fine?
What codec and bit rate are your source .wmv files being encoded at? Are you
using MM 2.0 or MM 2.1?

No, when played back the audio sounds horrible. I am saving file as a
DV-AVI file, bit rate is 30Mbps I am using MM2.0
Everything works great except the (audio), from my digital camcorder,
sounds like it's beeing shot right next to a waterfall or something.
I heard this is a common problem with digital video but no one can tell me
how to fix it. Any ideas?

Rencoding the file using window media encoder and playing around with the
audio codecs has worked in the past for me to get pass a tin sound to the
audio. But, you are going to end up with a .wmv file instead of a AVI.
