Difficulty Downloading Photostory 3

I have tried several times to download PS3 and kept stopped at the point
where I am told to first download Media 10 (???haven't got that name quite
right). I go to do it and am told it is not compatible with my XP. Is there
any way around this? My PC is not exactly new but it's not a paperweight
either. I'd appreciate help.
This is my first time on this group.

Try downloading PhotoStory 3 to your
hard drive *before* trying to install it.

On the ...File Download -
Security Warning...screen...
Left click the *Save* button.

On the *Save As* screen...
Open the...Save in...drop window
and choose a location for the file.
'Desktop' would be a good choice.
Now left click the "Save" button.

Install from there by left clicking the
"PStory.msi" file.

Do the same when you download
Windows Media Player 10...
