Nick
I am fairly self sufficient in using most versions of
windows but my netwroking knowledge is non existant could
you please help.
The problem is that I have a broadband router which works
fine - all four computers can access the Internet but I
wish for the four computers to also form a small network.
This would also be fine except that two of the computers
use XP, my computer uses Win 2k and the fourth is only
running Windows ME.
All four computers are in the same workgroup and I have
managed to get the XP computers and Win 2K to happily
network but Me is causing problems.
The computer can see the other three but cannot access the
shared folders since a password is required which doesn't
match any log in password. Also none of the non-ME
computers can see the ME computer.
Any ideas on how to resolve this? All four computers are
using ethernet cards.
Thanks in advance for any help.
