I have an Earthlink account with 3 alias's: for me and my
2 kids. Currently, all email is being downloaded into my
Outlook for all 3 of us. I'm using XP Pro and created
individual accounts. Can Outlook be configured so they
can log in as themselves and pick up their own email from
their own Outlook, bearing in mind we only have one ISP?

They will each need their own POP account, not just aliases/forwards to a
single POP account. I believe Earthlink lets you have something like 5
e-mail accounts at no extra charge.

You can, as long as your mail server supports the following convention -
(not all mail servers do).

Assume three email addresses - (e-mail address removed), (e-mail address removed)
and (e-mail address removed)
When you set up the email account for Julie, in the server log-on name
field, type "julie+username.isp.net" (without the quotes). In the same field
for Kid1, type "kid1+username.isp.net" and the same for kid2.
The only downside of this is that any email addressed to "anything BUT
julie, kid1 or kid2"@username.isp.net will not be downloaded, but as 99.99%
of this will be spam anyway, just use Mailwasher or similar once a month to
clear it out.
