Is it possible to have a different password for when
Outlook opens to the NT Login password? If so, how do I do
this?

I want to be logged onto the server (with the NT password)
but i want a different password prompt should anyone try
and open my outlook.

Please email me with you advice.

Thanks!

Gino

If you are working in a domain/exchange environment, the answer is no. The
basic concept of Microsoft's Windows platform is a single sign-on gets you
all domain resources. However you can configure your profile to prompt for
a password. Since you didn't give what version of Outlook you are running,
it will be tough to give exact steps since Outlook 2002/2003 has a different
GUI from earlier releases.

To add to Neo's reply - why not just lock your workstation when you're away
from it?

Assuming that you are in an exchange environment...

* Tools | Services
* Under first tab, highlight Exchange
* Properties button
* Second tab
* Change authentication setting to None
* OK out

Again, you will be using the same userid/password that you used to logon to
Windows NT with.
