Prior to installing the recent updates, my system booted directly to my Desktop which is what I want. Now it opens with the User/Password screen on which I click OK before it will go on to the Desktop. What can I do to eliminate this, and get back to the way things were before the updates were installed and have direct boot to the Desktop? I have tried to find an option I need to check/uncheck but cannot locate it

Thank you for any help

.. Go to the Start Menu and the Run box.
.. Type in the following:
control userpasswords2
.. now click OK
.. In the new Windows that appears select the account you wish to make the
primary logon.
.. Now uncheck the "Users must enter a username and password..." box.
.. Hit Apply and a dialog box will appear asking you to confirm the selected
users password.

Click OK.
The changes will work the next time you restart your computer.

The error message is:
