I have books created with excel 2000 with a certain format (in this case,
the sheet margins). When I open this files with excel 2002, the margins are
different from the original ones.
Opening the same file (without changing nor saving) with excel 2000 and
excel 2002 I see different margins.
Anyone know the cause? Any way of maintain the original format when working
in excel 2002? I have lots of work files, and change the format individually
is not a desirable option.

Help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Albert

Hi Albert,
Whenever you switch to a different printer, get an update, get a new
version of Excel you may be using a different print driver. Usually
the changes are not noticeable unless you are relying on the output
to look exactly the same and break (page breaks) in the same place
throughout it's use. You may get some satisfaction by using
page setup and changing pages wide and / or pages tall to a
specific number for that worksheet.

If you must produce a report to print the same on any printer, then
you might want to print to a PDF logical printer, save the file, and
distribute the PDF file. More information

You might also double check your printer set up, outside of Excel
buy addressable from Page Setup, General, options. Make sure
you have 8 1/2 x 11 paper in US or A2 paper in Europe.
