I just bought a parallel port to parallel port cable so I
can connect my Laptop with my computer. When I connected
them, the only way to test the connection, was to try
playing a multiplayer local play game (that's the only
thing that came to mind so..). It worked perfectly fine.
Then I tried to transfer files. I didn't know how to, so
I started experimenting. I ran
Start>>Programs>>Accessories>>Communiactions>>Network
Setup Wizard. I did the advanced network setup wizard
option and I did what it asked me to. Unfortunately, now
Instead of the normal log in screen that used to be there
(the click on your picture to enter password and enter
screen), there is another login screen (the ones like in
network systems where it asks you to enter your username
and password). The first time I logged on using this
method (there was no other choice), a dialogue box popped
up asking me to configure my settings (i dont really
remember what it was). Now that log on screen comes up
every time I turn on the computer. Is there a way to
reverse this. I want to completely remove the changes on
my computer. Would System Restore take it back to it's
original settings.

Go to Control Panel | User Accounts, click "Change the way users log
on or off", and select "Use the Welcome Screen".
