Different font sizes in different worksheet tabs

We've been given an Excel workbook that has different font sizes in
different tabs. How would that happen, and how can we fix it?

I've seen the posts here explaining that the Windows scrollbar size
affects Excel's tab font size, and tried it. But that affects all tab
font sizes equally.

The characters in the tabs are all Chinese, and I wondered if the font
used simply had some smaller characters. But if we copy characters
from one tab to another, they change to the size of the target tab.


Any suggestions?

No chance zoom is different, right?

Zoom is the same on all of the sheets in the workbook (100%).

However, zoom doesn't affect the tab's font size. I'm referring to the
font size for the actual tab name itself, not the font size for cells.
