Different defrag programs

I installed "Defraggler" as suggested in one of the responses. Nice
interface and easy to use. Maybe it's trying to tell me something. I just
degragged a certain 60mb partition with WinXP last week. First time I
used "Degraggler" was today on the same 60mb partition it too TWO
HOURS to complete the degrag opertion (WinXP = 10 minutes)

It now has 2 "systems" - files and C drive - up to a month ago it only
did files .

It might now take XP's defrag a long time to defrag the same partition.
Each defragger puts files in the places/sequences/sets it thinks they
should be and that seldom if ever matches anyone else's defrag programs.
Two hours is extreme though any way you look at it.
Did it indicate the drive needed to be defragged in any way? I hope
your keep backup archives of your data.

have you tried Auslogic's defragger.
