Hello Iam now having 20 98se m/c with a NT serve. it also
acts as a web server. Now i plan to migrate to 2000
server. Will there be any noticeable performance boost due
to this migration. In my NT network , the speed of the
network is slow even though i use 100Mbps switch. If i use
win 2K server will there be any speed difference in the
network.

Plz reply me

For simple file and print services, you probably won't notice much
difference between NT4 server and W2K server. If you're network is
slow, it might be due to different reasons: inappropriate protocols,
chatty nodes, unswitched network, incorrect duplex settings, etc., etc.,
etc.
