Got a bit of a dilemma here...

My laptop died.....motherboad probs.....

i've found a another one but it is slightly different...

My Laptop is an A360+ the other one is a a360

the differences are as follows :

A360+
FCPGA2
Intel® Pentium® III Tualatin 1.13/1.2 GHz
Intel® Pentium® III Coppermine 1/1.1 GHz
Intel® CeleronT 900/950 MHz, 1/1.1 GHz

A360
FCPGA
Intel® Pentium® III 933 MHz, 1/1.1 GHz
Intel® CeleronT 766/800/850/900/950 MHz

this is the only real difference between the 2 my idea is to buy the other
one and upgrade it with my old parts....

can a coppermine FCPGA2 work with a laptop that is FCPGA ?????????????

"Coppermine" and "FCPGA2" are two different processor types... Your
current board could've most likely supported either of these, but the
proposed replacement can only support Coppermines (by your account).

So the issue is, which CPU do you actually have? You can take the
markings on the CPU itself and go to http://www.intel.com , read the
specs.
